Shamwari Private Game Reserve is located 75 km outside Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa. It has historically been voted the World’s Leading Safari and Game Reserve and Conservation Company.
The reserve offers abundant wildlife, fauna and flora exclusive to the area and unforgettable encounters with nature and comprises of seven individual 5-star lodges, an Explorer Camp and three different education and rehabilitation facilities.
Power Partners has recently led the design and implementation of three cutting-edge solar and Battery Storage Systems at the reserve. These systems have a total solar capacity of 350kWp and a total battery capacity of 785 kWh.
The systems substantially shorten Shamwari’s reliance on South Africa’s national electricity providerwhile supporting its self-sustainability, environmental commitment, and operational efficiency.
